The Fulton Theatre has announced its 2008-2009 season, which will open with Oklahoma!, September 4-28, the classic Rodgers and Hammerstein story which will mark the first time Michael D. Mitchell has ever directed this musical about his home state. The show will feature choreography by Tyce Diorio, choreographer and judge from the Fox hit series So You Think You Can Dance. The True Story of Florence Foster Jenkins the Worst Singer in the World will follow, October 23-November 9, Peter Quilter's comedy about the infamously off-key musical phenomenon that struck New York.

42nd Street will ring in the new year with Marc Robin at the helm, featuring show-stopping tap numbers, and a wise-cracking love story, December 4-January 4. Agatha Christie's The Unexpected Guest will follow with a classic murder mystery filled with false leads, red herrings, and a host of probable suspects, January 29-February 15, directed by Mitchell. The drama will continue with Parade, March 12-29, when a young girl's body is found in a factory basement on the night of the Confederate Memorial Day parade in 1913 Georgia. Larry Shue's The Foreigner, directed by Matthew Kaylor Toronto, will bring a lighter tone with a dose of comedy, April 30-May 17, and the season will close with Les Misérables, June 11-July 5, directed by Mitchell and Alex Lubliner.
