Gillian Anderson to Star in Donmar's A Doll's House

Gillian Anderson will return to the stage next year in a new production of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House for a limited spring season at the Donmar Warehouse, although exact dates are still to be announced. The new adaptation is written by Zinnie Harris and directed by Kfir Yefet.

Anderson's stage credits include What the Night Is For, The Sweetest Swing in Baseball, The Philanthropist and The Vagina Monologues. She is best known as FBI Special Agent Dana Scully in the cult sci-fi hit The X-Files -- which returns to the big screen this summer -- and her other film and television credits include The Last King of Scotland, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People, The House of Mirth and Playing by Heart.
