Synopsis:
Gloucester Stage presents Rodgers and Hammerstein's A Grand Night for Singing. Conceiver Walter Bobbie combined familiar tunes from Oklahoma!, Carousel, South Pacific, and The King and I with brilliant songs from the lesser-known shows such as Allegro, and Flower Drum Song to take you on a journey through the stages of love. These innovative musical arrangements leave no doubt as to how terrifically "up to date" the songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein remain.
