ACME Comedy Theatre

This space was founded by M.D. Sweeney, following a workshop in the previous summer at Two Roads Theater in Studio City. First calling themselves The Two Roads Players, the troupe went through some name changes before becoming ACME Comedy Theatre. In 1992, they moved into their own new theater in North Hollywood in the newly established NoHo Arts District, performing some sixteen shows.
